Polyvagal Breathing (Workshop)

  • Kula Yoga on Main 1201 Main Street Carbondale, CO, 81623 United States (map)

Polyvagal Theory (PVT) describes the human neurophysiological drive for safety, and how this evolutionary imperative affects us on a moment-to-moment basis. Developed by Stephen Porges, PhD, Polyvagal Theory emphasizes the role of the autonomic nervous system (the vagus nerve in particular) in regulating our state, behavior, and overall well-being. Join Davis Cowles in a digestible exploration of PVT, including a variety of techniques to increase your sense of safety, co-regulation, and connection in your body, relationships, and life.

Whether you are a healthcare professional seeking more tools to support your patients or simply to increase your ability to regulate your nervous system, this workshop will help you.
